Smith & Son Homebuilders LLC has only been in business for a few years however the two owners, a father and son team, have over 45 years of construction experience between the two of them. Although they had separate careers for many years, starting Smith & Son Homebuilders LLC fulfilled a long time dream for John and Matt Smith. They were both working with a national home builder and overseeing the construction of many homes in a year which did not allow them to really get to know their client’s wants and needs as much as they would like. Beginning their own home building company has given them the opportunity to be much more “hands on” and to manage every detail of the construction process because they are onsite everyday for most of the day. 
From the first time I met Matt and John Smith, I felt they were honest and kind people. Since that time, I have found that they treat everyone, including their homebuyers, subcontractors, and vendors, with courtesy and respect all of the time. They really care about doing a great job and, of course, meeting deadlines. When it makes sense they use the latest technologies in their homes and they try to respect the environment during the construction of each home, as well as in their daily lives. Matt and John have done a great job choosing liveable floorplans with the potential homeowner’s wants and needs in mind.
During the construction of a Smith & Son Homebuilders’ home, you will find only the best local subcontractors and vendors working on the home. Because of this, you can walk on any of their construction sites, during any phase of construction, and see everything clean and you will be treated with respect — whether they know who you are or not.
When asked how things were going with their business, both of the Smith’s replied “We have a lot of fun
